    Job Description
    1. REPORTS TO: VP Operations
    2. SUPERVISES: Office Assistant
    3. OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY: The Planner Scheduler Expeditor is primarily responsible for planning and executing company operational strategy for materials and job planning, availability of materials, and inventory control in support of production schedules and company goals. Monitor material and part inventory for potential and real outages.  Coordinate with production and purchasing for expedites.  Coordinate all Inventory and cycle count processes for Mitchell location.
    4. MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
      1. Lead daily Production Meeting
      2. Generate and distribute assigned daily and weekly reports
      3. Coordinate production schedules for product lines, initiate jobs and travelers, complete jobs, and work with Plant Superintendent to establish priorities.
      4. Updates schedule daily with guidance from senior team members and direct manager
      5. Respond to questions from Production Supervisors regarding schedules, order submittals, drawings, drawing distribution, etc.
      6. Works as a liaison between Customer Service, Production, and Purchasing on all jobs, material issues, and expedite requests
      7. Assist in setting and maintaining product master, planning fields, and BOMs in Epicor ERP system
      8. Maintain data integrity of MRP system
      9. Respond to questions about job status and scheduling, including delivery status of sales orders
      10. Assist with purchasing process as needed
      11. Review Engineering Change Orders for required changes to Part Master, Raw Materials, and BOMs.

      5. Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
    7. WORKING CONDITIONS/ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
      1. Periods of standing and walking through the factory/warehouse
      2. Occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch
      3. Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs.
      4. Ability to work extended hours sitting at a computer

    8. COMPETENCIES – To perform this job successfully, the employee will demonstrate the following competencies to perform the essential functions of the position.
      1. Aware and support All ISO Management Systems (QMS, OHSM and EMS)
      2. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to complete reports and logs.
      3. Advanced knowledge with ERP systems, Epicor Kinetic ERP a plus
      4. 3 – 5 years advanced experience with ERP systems in a manufacturing environment
      5. High school diploma, associate degree a plus
