The Mitchell Internship Incentive Program connects college students with summer internships at local businesses—helping them gain real-world experience while building towards their future career. Students who secure and complete a qualifying internship will receive a $500 incentive—just for working in Mitchell over the summer.

Who is Eligible

To participate you must:

  • Be a current college student
  • Complete an internship in Mitchell, SD
  • Work anytime between May - August

How It Works 

1) Apply

Submit a short online application or fill out an application in person at 601 N Main St.

2) Match

We’ll work with you to connect you to a local business that fits your field and interests.

3) Earn

Once your internship is set and your placement is confirmed with the employer, you will receive your $500 stipend!
