• DWU to hold Blue and White Days Parade

    MITCHELL — Dakota Wesleyan University’s annual homecoming parade is set for 10 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 1, on Mitchell’s Main Street.  Businesses, organizations, clubs and youth groups are invited to participate.
     
    The theme for the 2022 Blue and White Days parade is “Welcome to the Jungle.”  The theme encourages parade participants to incorporate DWU’s iconic tiger mascot into their float design.
     
    There is no fee to enter the parade. Registration is due by Sept. 30.  To register for the parade, visit www.dwu.edu/parade.  
     
    Plaques will be given to first, second and third place, as well as honorable mentions.  
     
    DWU Blue and White Days is scheduled for Sept. 26-Oct. 2, beginning with Coronation
