    DakotaFest Women’s Brunch Scheduled for Wednesday, August 22 at 10 a.m.
     
    Mitchell Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting the annual Women’s Brunch to provide a fun and inspirational event for women. The event is held alongside the DakotaFest Farm Show.
     
    Mitchell, SD – July 6, 2018
     
    The DakotaFest Women’s Brunch is scheduled for Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at the Highland Conference Center. Reserved tickets will go on sale Monday, July 9, 2018 at 8:00am on a first-come-first-served basis at the Chamber of Commerce, 601 N. Main St., Mitchell. Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the door. This year’s theme is “Are You A Secret Weapon?”. Amanda Radke will be this year’s speaker and will present her message;  Women in Ag: The industry’s secret weapon for busting myths and connecting with consumers.
     
    With her passion filled message, Amanda shares how women in Ag are the industry’s secret weapon for sharing positive stories and relating to consumers.  That by reaching out to our community, we can help foster a better understanding of what we do on our farms and ranches to encourage clearer communications between producers and consumers.
