MITCHELL – The Ron and Sheilah Gates Department of Music at Dakota Wesleyan University will present LyricWood in concert on Sunday, Oct. 24, at 7 p.m. in the Sherman Center. Admission is free.

This concert is Halloween themed and will feature music by composers Richard Meyer, Joshua Reznicow, Bernard Herman, Béla Bartók, James Stephenson III and Michael Jackson. Concert goers will be treated to a variety of spooky and familiar songs including the “Psycho” suite, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow and Thriller.
Both the LyricWood Cadets, under the direction of Esther Meador, and the LyricWood Orchestra conducted by Dr. Bethany Amundson and directed by Elizabeth Soladay and Meador will perform.
The next musical event scheduled is the annual Christmas at Dakota Wesleyan Concert on Saturday, Dec. 4.
